Wouter D'haene

Wouter D'Haene is the owner (Eigenaar) of DUNE Fabrics, a company he founded in July 2021.2 DUNE Fabrics is based in De Haan, Flanders, Belgium, and specializes in creating fabrics inspired by beach, sea, wind, and waves.2

Before starting DUNE Fabrics, D'Haene had a background in the medical device industry. He studied at the Katholieke Hogeschool, which contributed to his professional experience.

It's worth noting that Wouter D'Haene has a diverse background. Earlier in his career, he was a successful canoe sprinter who competed at high levels in the mid-2000s.1 He won a silver medal in the K-2 1000 m event at the 2003 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships and participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, finishing fifth in the K-2 1000 m event.1
