Wisty Pender

Wisty Pender is the State Director of the Business Enterprise Resource Office (BERO) at the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD). Her focus is on advocating for economic inclusion of disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) in Tennessee. BERO's work revolves around analyzing, promoting best practices, and ensuring access to capital for DBEs. Wisty Pender has a wealth of experience in developing and coordinating programs, managing grants, fostering partnerships, and organizing events in the realm of DBE support. She also has a background in domestic and international small business ownership and non-profit work.
