William Turner is a highly accomplished writer, attorney, and historian with an extensive background in civil rights policy and law. He studied history at Grinnell College before earning a J.D., a Doctor of Law, and a Ph.D. in Arts and Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Vanderbilt University.
Turner has published two books, eight law review articles, and multiple op-ed pieces in local newspapers, demonstrating his exceptional writing skills. He has also held various teaching positions, including Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at Emory University School of Law and Visiting Assistant Professor of History at St. Cloud State University and Middle Tennessee State University.
Additionally, Turner has worked as an attorney at William B. Turner, Attorney at Law, and as a research fellow at the James Weldon Johnson Institute. He has also served as the Board President at Outreach and the Assistant Director at the Center for Twenty-first Century Studies.
