David Wagner

David Wagner is an experienced writer, legal expert, author, commentator, and educator with 16 years of teaching law at Regent University School of Law. He studied JD in Law at George Mason U. Law, MA in Medieval Studies at Yale Graduate School, Bachelor's degree in History at Yale University, and IB in English Language and Literature/Letters at United Nations International School.

David's professional experience includes serving as a Special Assistant in the Office of Legal Counsel, EEOC, authoring books for Ave Maria Press, conducting legal research and writing at National Legal Foundation, working as a legal journalist, speechwriter, and ghostwriter for various clients, and teaching at Veritas Preparatory Academy.

In the past, he also worked as a consulting editor at Regnery Publishing, senior writer at Insight Magazine, Counsel at House of Reps., Intl. Rel. Subcomm., Director of Legal Policy at a public policy nonprofit, speechwriter at US DOJ, editorial writer at The Washington Times, and intern at Senate Steering Committee.

David is not only an accomplished legal scholar and writer, but he is also a devoted opera fan. His media appearances as a commentator on TV and radio demonstrate his ability to communicate complex legal issues in an engaging and accessible way.
