William Cobbs

William Cobbs is an experienced executive rainmaker with a broad range of skills in client relationship management, sales strategy, project work, and software as a service. Cobbs is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School and the University of Michigan, with extensive experience in the US Navy, Data General, Sun Microsystems, Xerox, IKON, Nextek Power Systems, Surfray A/S, and Detroit New Day Community Cooperative. He has also served as a public safety officer with Wayne State and as a gubernatorial candidate for the State of Michigan.
Cobbs has built and reversed several enterprises, pioneering preadaptations for cloud and SaaS computing, and driving over $20 billion in revenue since 1994. He specializes in revenue and EBITDA growth, as well as general account management, business technology integration, operational management, project management, and sales and marketing frameworks. Cobbs is the former Chairman of 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit, a former member of Corporate Partners in Diversity, and a former consultant to the United Way of SE Michigan. He excels in analytical skills, consultative sales, lead management, P&L enhancement/budget management, risk assessment, data analytics, software sales, and interpersonal skills.
