William Brown is a master at fostering community spirit in students. With more than four decades of experience in College Union administration, he has had a significant impact on the education system. His greatest accomplishment has been the creation of the Knobloch Campus Center, a facility comprising various meeting rooms, an outdoor recreation center, a state-of-the-art performance hall, fitness centers, post office and several offices for Student Activities. Additionally, Brown has contributed to Association of College Unions International in several ways, including consulting teams that helped Lehigh University and SUNY Geneseo to address organizational concerns and major renovations plans. Apart from this, he is also a founding member partner and Principal in The College Union Collaborative, a consulting firm designed to provide advice to universities and architects in designing great facilities.

Brown believes in helping other College Union and Student Activities Professionals, especially smaller schools with small staff teams that often can't afford to go to conferences. Therefore, he is developing a consulting project focused on guiding these professionals to get exposure to the broader field and individual support.

As a history graduate from Davidson College and Religious Education master's degree holder from Union Presbyterian Seminary, William Brown has more than enough experience to guide college union administrators, students and community members in the right direction.
