William Baker

William Baker is an experienced Robotics and Automotive Engineer with expertise in hardware, software, communications, and leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont.

William has a rich professional background, having worked in various organizations in the robotics and engineering field. He has been a Robotics Consultant at sourcerus.dev, a Robot Wizard at Houston Mechatronics, Inc., and a Robotics Engineer at Oceaneering Space Systems. William has also served as the Robonaut 2 Software Applications Lead at NASA and had an internship at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.

Prior to his roles in robotics, William gained experience as a Prototype Developer at IAV GmbH and as an Electrical Test Engineer at Being Advanced Memory Corp. He has also held positions such as Vice President at UVM Men's Ice Hockey Club and Electrical Design Engineer at Alternative Energy Racing Organization.

Currently, William is engaged in robotics projects at X, the moonshot factory, where he continues to leverage his skills and expertise in the field. With a strong educational foundation and a diverse professional experience, William Baker is a valuable asset in the realm of robotics and engineering.
