Will Tibben

Dr. Will Tibben is an accomplished professional with a strong background in Information Systems, Social Informatics, and Knowledge Management. He holds a PhD and a Master by Research from the University of Wollongong, specializing in ICTs, development, and information economics. Dr. Tibben serves as an Honorary Fellow at the University of Wollongong, where he has also held the position of Senior Lecturer.

In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Tibben has an extensive history of contributing to the field through various organizations. He has served as a Board member at the Pacific Islands Chapter of the Internet Society, showcasing his deep involvement in issues related to information technology and its impact on society.

Prior to his academic and research endeavors, Dr. Tibben has been actively engaged in practical roles within the broadcasting industry. He has worked at the William J Tibben Pty Ltd, providing broadcast technical training and consultancy services. Furthermore, his experience includes positions such as Technical Advisor at Samoa Broadcasting Service - Radio 2AP and Broadcast Engineering Officer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
