Will Muirhead is a sports and media entrepreneur with a vast background in the tech and gaming industries. A graduate of The University of Edinburgh, Muirhead founded his first business, SportEV, in 1999. The OTT/SVOD-powered platform provided solutions to major sports rights holders and broadcasters such as FIFA, Premier League, and BT before being acquired by the Press Association in 2005. Muirhead went on to create tixdaq, which was a ticket data and search company. He was appointed Managing Director of Sportech's football gaming business in 2008 before founding fanatix in 2011, a user-generated sports video news network. Currently, as the Chief Executive of Rocket Sports Internet, he invests in sports journalists and news creators.
