He has led and offered strategic direction to organizations of over 600 personnel, as well as small strategic teams serving senior leaders in numerous federal agencies, focusing on national security and international policy matters.

He is an expert in legislative affairs, deeply passionate about advocating for veterans and families. His experience includes working closely with senior Army leaders, Congress, the White House, and contributing to the US military mission in Afghanistan on these critical issues.

Educationally, Will Johnson holds a Master of Professional Studies in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University, a Master of Science in National Security and Resource Strategy as a Distinguished Graduate from the National Defense University, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Armstrong State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Richmond.

His professional journey includes serving in various key roles such as Committee Staff at the House Committee on Armed Services, Military Officer - Colonel in the US Army, Director Of Legislative Affairs to the Commander, US Forces in Afghanistan with Resolute Support, Executive Director of Joining Forces at the Executive Office of the President, North East US and European Regional Director Soldier For Life at the Office of the Army Chief of Staff, Battalion Commander (Chief Executive Officer) of 5th Battalion 82nd Field Artillery Regiment in the US Army, Deputy Director in the Army's Liaison Detachment to the U.S. House of Representatives in the US Army, Congressional Fellow for Representative John Spratt in the U.S. House of Representatives, and various other leadership positions with increasing responsibilities within the US Army.
