Wies Kerrebijn is a Liberal Arts & Sciences graduate pursuing a master's program in Gender Studies with a strong passion for feminism and women's empowerment to strive for a gender-equal and sustainable future.
Wies holds a Master's degree (MSc) in Gender and ethnicity from the University of Gothenburg, a minor in Photography from Göteborgs universitet HDK Valand Academy of Art and Design, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Cultural Anthropology from University College Maastricht, and a Bachelor's degree in Gender and ethnicity from the University of Adelaide.
Throughout Wies' academic journey, they also completed VWO TTO (Tweetalig Onderwijs) in Cultuur en Maatschappij at Over Betuwe College Bemmel.
Professionally, Wies has been involved in various organizations, serving as a Research Intern and working on their Master's Thesis at Emancipator, having been a WilWeg Ambassador at Nuffic, the Founder of WOMAN UP, a Marketing and Communications Intern at Atria focusing on emancipation and women's history, an Editorial Intern at OneWorld, a Style Advisor at Vanilia, a Hospitality Employee at Zinzia Zorggroep, and a Teacher Intern at Gracehill Primary School.
