Whitney Silkworth
Whitney Silkworth is a highly motivated Ph.D. researcher with 12 years of translational research experience, specializing in high-throughput screening and rational drug discovery. She obtained her PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and studied Biomedical Engineering, Cell, and Tissue Engineering, and Chemical Engineering at the University of Rochester. Whitney is currently a Senior Research Associate at Calico Life Sciences, and she has previously worked as a PhD Candidate at Harvard Medical School, Research Assistant II at Broad Institute, and Lab Manager, Research Technician at Harvard Medical School. Furthermore, Whitney has experience in cross-disciplinary collaborations and is a co-founder of a successful non-profit organization, Camp Casco, Inc, where she held positions including Chief Development Officer, Director of Grants, Board Member, and Camp Counselor.
