Wes Brooks is a multifaceted professional with a passion for blending faith and digital skills to make a meaningful impact.

With a background that spans engineering, venture capital, marketing strategy, data science, and big data architectures, Wes has honed his expertise at the intersection of technology, business, and creativity.

After a transformative experience at Urbana '15, Wes and his wife transitioned from corporate roles to become Digital Missionaries with Cru, where Wes spearheads innovative initiatives that use machine learning and big data to spread the message of love and hope.

His academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Kentucky College of Engineering, as well as participation in the Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program focused on commercialization of research at Stanford University.

Throughout his career, Wes has held key roles such as Data Strategy Manager, Data Science Lab Team Lead, Growth Solutions Team Lead, Technical Lead for Advanced Analytics, and Data Scientist at Cru.

His professional experience also includes positions like Growth Hacker at Cornett, Founder, Product Manager, and Architect at Pivott Ventures, KEF Fund Associate at Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation, Entrepreneurial Lead at the I-CORPS Program, and President at Big Blue Starters (#BBS).
