Wendi Parson is the Deputy Director of Communications and Marketing at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York City. She has held this position since October 2018.123

In her role, Parson oversees marketing, communications, media relations, digital and social media, branding, and visitor experience for the museum.1 She is part of the senior leadership team and is responsible for raising brand awareness, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms, and shaping strategic initiatives.1

Prior to joining MAD, Parson served as the Director of Communications and Marketing at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum for three years.1 She has also worked in communications roles at New York University Tandon School of Engineering, Smart Design, and the Design Trust for Public Space.1

Parson holds a Master's degree in the History of Decorative Arts and Design from a joint program offered by Parsons School of Design and Cooper Hewitt, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Michigan State University.1
