He emphasizes the necessity of synergistic efforts between public and private sectors to drive further growth and tackle obstacles to EV deployment in the United States.

With a background steeped in automotive expertise, particularly in product planning, marketing, and strategic development, Wayne has adeptly handled launching new products and fostering cooperation among corporate and agency teams. His professional focus since 2012 has been on electric vehicle product planning and charging infrastructure strategy and business development.

Education-wise, Wayne pursued his high school diploma at Head-Royce, followed by a BA in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley. He furthered his academic qualifications with an MBA in Strategic Marketing and Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside - A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management.

Throughout his career, Wayne Killen has held key roles in several notable organizations. He has served as a Senior Advisor for Outreach and Business Development at the Department of Energy within the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Wayne was also a Board Member at Forth (previously known as Drive Oregon) and has previously held positions such as Director of Charging Infrastructure Planning & Business Development at Electrify America, LLC, and Electric Vehicle Architect at Audi of America.
