Wally Nguyen

Wally Nguyen is a seasoned CEO, SVP, VP, and Board Director with over 15 years of experience in the technology industry. He has worked with companies of all sizes, from venture-funded to bootstrapped, and has built impressive revenue streams ranging from $5M to $100M. Nguyen is well known for his expertise in mobile gaming and is currently the head of Sales and Content for Skillz, the first mobile esports company to go public. In this role, he oversees developer partnerships, game design, and development.

Prior to his current role, Nguyen was the CEO and co-founder of mNectar, where he helped pioneer the Playable Ad format as well as app streaming and playable app sampling for the mobile ecosystem. During his tenure, mNectar raised $10M in venture capital. In addition, he was the Vice President of Sales at Super Rewards, leading the company through its acquisition by Adknowledge, which later spun off East Side Games. East Side Games has grown to become one of the largest independent game studios in mobile, and he remains an advisor to the company.

Nguyen's education background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Management, Business Administration, and Management. When not working, he is an avid comic book collector, amassing over 8,000 issues, including the original Uncanny X-Men # 1. His personal hero is Jim Lee, and he aspires to one day become Batman.
