    Wafaa Arbash is a mission-driven individual who has made significant strides since coming to the United States in 2013 for what was supposed to be a short stay.

    With two master's degrees under her belt, Wafaa is the founder of WorkAround, a social enterprise dedicated to linking displaced individuals worldwide with digital opportunities that enhance economic empowerment, reduce poverty, and restore dignity.

    Her educational journey includes dual master's degrees in Sustainable International Development and Coexistence and Conflict Resolution from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, as well as a bachelor's degree in Education Methods and Techniques from Damascus University.

    In addition to her role as the Co-Founder and CEO at WorkAround, Wafaa has contributed her talents to various organizations such as Five One Labs, Startup Institute, Brandeis University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Utah State University as a Culture Coordinator, and Mobaderoon Network Organization as a Development Trainer.

    She firmly believes that economic empowerment is vital for fostering locally driven sustainable development, reflecting her commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
