Was the lead graduate student instructor for UC Berkeley's EE106A/206A Introduction to Robotics course for undergraduate and graduate students covering the fundamentals of kinematics, dynamics, and control of robot manipulators, robotic vision, and sensing.  Taught 3 laboratory sections using ROS to control a Baxter and Zumy mobile robots.  With 2 other GSIs, oversaw 20+ course projects.

EE106A/206A - Graduate Student Instructor

Using modeling, dynamics, and control theory to develop a framework to analyze the stability of human motion (i.e. sit to stand actions or gait).  Applications include: prosthetic/exoskeleton design, tele-medicine for the elderly, physical therapy / intervention, and bipedal robotic locomotion.

Graduate Student Researcher

Masters Thesis: Developed a framework to model and monitor drivers for a semi-autonomous control system for vehicles.  We designed the framework, constructed an experimental test-bed, conducted experiments, and showed that this semi-autonomous framework keeps the driver safe at all times.

REU Intern

Developed a map-path finding system which takes into consideration user rankings and outside sources (i.e. traffic) to give route recommendations for bicyclists.

Center for Embedded Networked Sensing @ UCLA

Summer Intern

Designed and implemented a framework for the development of motion-based mobile games utilizing wireless body sensor networks.  Also implemented a medical monitoring system using nesC, Matlab, and Java to interface sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes, and GPS) with Telos Motes and classify movement data.
