Venkatesh Ragala is a seasoned Design Verification Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the field. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in VLSI from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science. Venkatesh has extensive experience in building simple, scalable, and robust constrained random verification test benches that require less maintenance. He has been working on the state-of-the-art Access Point Wifi Hardware verification and has developed block-level/system-level test plans. Venkatesh is skilled in quick debugging and coverage-driven constrained random testbench development and coverage closure using SystemVerilog, UVM methodology, and formal verification. He also has experience in developing BUS BFM models, L2 cache interface scalable checker, and the interface portion of the L2 cache reference model. Venkatesh has verified BIU and built BIU Checker. BIU is the bus interface unit between L2 cache and Broadcom system buses in ARM CPU Subsystem. He has also worked on MPEG-2/MPEG-4/Divx311/H.264 codecs stream parser test planning, functional coverage model development, and Testbench methodology development using SystemVerilog & OVM methodology. Venkatesh has expertise in MAC Security block FPGA Wrapper Design/verification using SystemVerilog, OVM methodology.

Apart from his technical expertise, Venkatesh has been actively involved in Toastmasters International, where he held various leadership positions such as Division C Director, Area Director, Club President, Vice President - Education (VPE), and Treasurer. Before joining Broadcom Inc., Venkatesh worked as a Design Engineer at Conexant Systems and Vitesse Semiconductors and as a Research Intern at Analog Devices.
