Venkatesh Balasubramanian is a veteran with 21 years of experience in the Indian Air Force, specializing in leadership, team-building, and inspiring others. After dedicating his time to serving the motherland, Venkatesh ventured into the learning and development field, where he now imparts product training to SMC application engineers, blending e-learning, instructor-led training, and gamification. Venkatesh is responsible for training SMC customers in industrial automation and creating awareness about Industry 4.0 technologies like collaborative robots, cloud computing, and additive manufacturing through SMC's state-of-the-art training equipment. He is adept in software like Automation Studio, Autodesk Fusion 360, and Ansys Additive, to name a few. Venkatesh's passion for fitness is evident, having participated in over 40 half marathons in India and abroad. He advocates for a healthy lifestyle and encourages others to prioritize their health. Venkatesh is also fluent in five Indian languages and has done a certificate course in German.
