Valeria Tiffer

Valeria Tiffer is an accomplished professional currently pursuing her MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. She has a strong background in international trade and law, having served as an Export Strategy Consultant at the International Trade Centre (ITC) from September 2019 to December 2022. During her tenure at ITC, she advised a Caribbean country on designing a National Export Strategy focused on promoting export growth and sustainable economic development through digital trade and e-government initiatives. Her role involved aligning stakeholders and improving government services related to trade facilitation and investment promotion.1
Before her time at ITC, Tiffer was a Legal Affairs Officer at the World Trade Organization (WTO), where she provided legal advice on trade disputes among member states. She holds a Harvard Law LL.M. and is admitted to practice law in Costa Rica.12 In addition to her legal and consulting work, she co-founded a global e-commerce brand, Pata Paw, which focuses on pet accessories designed by female artists.1
Tiffer is fluent in Spanish and English, with elementary proficiency in German, and has been recognized for her contributions to international law and trade through various awards during her academic career.1
