Valeria Fuentes is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer with a focus on addressing social issues through her work.
She holds a Social Design MA and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Architectural Design from The Maryland Institute College of Art.
Valeria is the Co-Founder of Suyana Technology Inc. and has previously founded Roots & Raíces.
Her experience includes being an ACE Team Lead Mentor at the ACE Mentorship Program, a Fellow at Green Street Academy at Warnock Foundation, and a Human Centered Design Fellow at Mathematical Optimization for Decisions Lab (MODL).
She has also worked as an Architectural Designer at Living Design Lab, founded Kinetic Kitchen, and held various roles at Maryland Institute College of Art, Catholic Relief Services, and Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD).
