Monica Yunus is a well-renowned opera singer, musician, educator, and producer with an impressive background in the music industry. She studied at The Lawrenceville School before pursuing her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Voice and Opera at The Juilliard School. Over her career, Monica has performed as a soprano with various organizations such as Metropolitan Opera, Nashville Opera, Opera Colorado, Opera Memphis, and Zouk Mikael International Festival. She has also worked as a freelance musician, educator, and producer.
Monica also co-founded and was the co-executive director of Sing for Hope, a non-profit organization that provides access to the arts to underserved communities. Additionally, she has been on the faculty of Carnegie Mellon University and has been an active advocate for the arts, founding and supporting various initiatives that promote the role of music in society.
