Valentin Van Nhut is the founder of Kumiko Matcha, a brand focused on introducing authentic premium organic matcha tea from Japan to Europe.
Having faced and overcome two heart attacks at a young age, Valentin learned to embrace life fully and cherish each moment, leading him to explore different experiences and travel extensively.
His journey led him to discover matcha tea during a trip to Asia, inspiring him to establish Kumiko Matcha in 2013 to offer top-quality matcha tea to the community in France and Europe.
Valentin's commitment to quality drives him to personally visit Japanese farmers each year to source organic matcha and share their stories with his community through videos.
Passionate about high-quality teas, Valentin aims to provide a healthier alternative by offering matcha tea known for its antioxidants, L-Theanine content for relaxation, and slow-release caffeine for sustained energy.
He holds a Master's degree in International Business from ESSCA Business School and pursued a Personal MBA in Business, Marketing, Sales, and Nutrition.
Prior to founding Kumiko Matcha, Valentin gained experience as a Strategy Consultant in Digital Marketing for Anti-Aging and Skincare Clinics, as well as a Special Assistant to the CEO at VINCE Wines under the Camus Wines and Spirits Group in Shanghai.
