Vaibhav Somani

Vaibhav Somani is an accomplished Lead Electrical Engineer with 10 years of experience in Research and Technology Development in power electronics.

He holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay and has excelled in AC-DC, DC-DC converter, and Power Supply design with DO-160 standards.

Recognized for his performance excellence and contributions in IP development, Vaibhav has filed 7 US Patents and secured 3 IPs as Trade secrets.

Recently awarded the prestigious Zinnov Technical Role Model Award 2021 and a finalist for the 2021 Collins Engineer of The Year.

With a strong focus on implementing innovative yet practical solutions, he aims to deliver significant value, create technological advantages, and push forward future platforms.

In his career, Vaibhav has held key roles including Senior Lead Electrical Engineer - Power Electronics and Lead Electrical Engineer at Collins Aerospace.

He has also worked as a Member of the Electrical Subsystem at Pratham, IIT Bombay Student Satellite, and as an R&D Design Engineer at TRIBI SYS PVT LTD.

His educational background includes a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Control & Computing from IIT Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering with honors from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.
