Una Jefferson

Una Jefferson is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in environmental policy, economics, and forestry.

Una holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Environmental Policy with Distinction from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology with First Class Honours with Distinction from McGill University, and has studied at the University of Toronto Schools.

Currently, Una serves as a Research Associate in Environmental Policy and Economics at the Smart Prosperity Institute, showcasing her expertise in sustainability and economic analysis.

Prior to her current role, Una has held various positions including Regulatory Analyst at Nimonik, Junior Consultant at SmartCert Sustainable Forestry Consulting, and Intern focusing on Governance of Fire and Haze at CIFOR - Center for International Forestry Research.

Una's professional journey also includes Research Assistant to Dr. Barry Eidlin at McGill University's Faculty of Arts and Outreach Assistant at the Institute for Research on Public Policy (IRPP), demonstrating her commitment to research and public policy.
