Tyler Polsgrove

Tyler Polsgrove, MPA, is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Evergy East Relay Department Manager.

He holds a Master's Degree in Public Affairs, Economics, and Global Strategy from Park University, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Missouri Western State University, and has been a Doniphan Leadership Fellow at William Jewell College.

In his role, Tyler oversees construction and maintenance activities, focusing on relay and system protection upgrades for the bulk electric system at Evergy East.

He is a Subject Matter Expert for the Evergy East NERC PRC-005 compliance program and adeptly manages tasks associated with NERC PRC-002, PRC-008, and CIP 7.

With prior experience as the Supervisor of Substation Electricians and Relay Technicians at KCP&L, Kansas City Power & Light, Tyler brings a wealth of expertise to his current position.

Through his educational background and professional experiences, Tyler Polsgrove has developed a strong skill set in leadership, public affairs, economics, and compliance within the energy sector.
