Trygve Utstumo is known for his work in agricultural robotics, focusing on innovation and skill development in machine vision and autonomous robotics through his Industry PhD project with Adigo AS and The Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

He holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and has studied Robotics at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Mathematics at the School of Economics and Business at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, and Economics, Computer Science, and Design at Pacific Lutheran University.

At Adigo Mechatronics, Trygve Utstumo serves as the Robotics Group Lead. He has previously held roles as an Industry PhD Candidate at NTNU, a Visiting Researcher at Google, and a Youth Delegate at the Norwegian Red Cross.
