William Pagnon

William Pagnon is the CEO of Freelance Robotics, an Australian engineering firm known for excellence in solutions-focused engineering since 2009. He is dedicated to bridging the gap between research and commercialization across industries by offering custom hardware and software solutions.

With two Masters degrees in Robotics from ESIA, France, and Mechatronics from the University of Queensland, Australia, William brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. His background includes working as a Robotics Engineer in the private sector before founding Freelance Robotics.

Under his leadership, Freelance Robotics successfully pivoted in 2020 to include pandemic management technology in response to the COVID crisis and launched an Industrial Robotics division. William's expertise extends to artificial intelligence, data systems, technology integration, and the Internet of Things, driving smart factory coordination and Industry 4.0 tech adoption.

Beyond advanced manufacturing and sovereign supply chain development, William has a keen interest in smart cities technology and advancing agricultural robotics for global impact.

Throughout his career, William has been involved in various organizations, including Industrial Robotics, RDA Brisbane, and HemisphereGPS, holding roles such as Director, Founder, Committee Secretary, and Robotics Engineer. His diverse educational background and multifaceted experience have shaped his leadership style and innovative approach.
