Trond Johansen

Trond Johansen is a passionate software executive and product creator with a strong track record of over twenty years in developing commercially successful products. He excels in leadership, setting clear objectives, nurturing trust, and fostering a culture of courage within teams.

Trond's expertise spans team and leadership development, organization development, strategy implementation, mergers, acquisitions, and the overall process of delivering products that resonate with users and customers alike. He enjoys engaging with customers and technical experts, showcasing his ability to connect with people.

Having ventured from prominent companies like Hydro Data and Det Norske Veritas (DNVGL) to the startup environment in 1999, Trond made significant contributions at Confirmit, a startup that achieved international success. During his tenure at Confirmit, he held various key roles across Quality Assurance, Project Management, Product Management, and Product Development, eventually serving on the board of directors.

Trond made a smooth transition to TietoEVRY, assuming the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and expanding his role to oversee Cloud Operations and Support for multiple teams across different regions. He spearheaded a transformative journey towards a product-first approach, emphasizing standardization and cloud migration. This initiative was a pivotal part of his participation in TietoEVRY's executive leadership development program in collaboration with Stockholm School of Economics.

Trond's areas of expertise include leadership, software product development for the Cloud, Agile methodologies, strategy formulation, team development, coaching, change management, project management, software process improvement, quality management, outsourcing/offshore development, and mergers and acquisitions.

Trond holds a background in a diverse set of fields, having studied at the Royal Norwegian Air Force officer training and completing a Master of Science in IT with a focus on Naval architecture at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Currently, Trond serves as the Head of Technology & Development and CTO at TietoEVRY, showcasing his proficiency in driving technological innovation and organizational growth. His prior roles include Director of the Board, Head of R&D, Product Manager, and SAP Consultant at respected organizations like Confirmit, DNV Software, and Hydro Data AS.
