Hans Kvalvaag is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in Business Development, M&A, JV and partnership structuring, and Board representations.

His expertise lies within Renewable Energy, Energy Markets, and Energy-intensive traditional industry, where he merges competences in Law and Corporate Finance.

Hans studied Cand Jur in Law at the University of Oslo and Corporate Finance at the Norwegian School of Economics. He also received training as an Officer at the Naval Academy.

His professional journey includes roles such as SVP New Ventures at Scatec Solar, Hold Co at Hokkon AS, VP Project Development at Scatec Solar, and Investment Director at Ard Group AS.

Hans Kvalvaag has also served as Director in Global Joint Ventures and Mergers & Acquisitions at Norsk Hydro, as well as in Business Development in Renewable Energy sectors at Norsk Hydro ASA.

Prior to these roles, he also worked as an Attorney at Law at Advokatfirmaet Selmer DA, a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, and a Second Lieutenant - Navigator in the Royal Norwegian Navy.
