Trishita Tiwari is a dedicated Masters+PhD student at Cornell University, specializing in hardware security under the guidance of Prof. Edward Suh. She excelled during her undergraduate studies as a Trustee Scholar at Boston University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Trishita actively contributed to the field of cyber security at NISLab, collaborating with Prof. Ari Trachtenberg on diverse projects. Her research interests encompass cache-based side-channel attacks, malicious applications of the Alt-Svc HTTP header, and vulnerabilities in the Network Time Protocol (NTP). She has a rich background in identifying security loopholes, with notable projects including network side-channel exploitation on Android, developing a distributed web miner for Ethereum, and anomaly detection for compromised virtual machines (VMs) in cloud environments. Trishita has showcased her scholarly achievements through first-author publications at prestigious conferences and workshops like Black Hat Asia 2020, IEEE Big Data 17, CSCML 18, ACM CCS 18, IEEE CNS 19, USENIX WOOT 19, and ACM CCS 19. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with two Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) identifiers - CVE-2019-11728 and CVE-2019-5489.
