    Travis Williams is a seasoned executive at the Penguins, currently holding the position of Chief Operating Officer where he manages daily business and arena operations.

    Aside from his COO role, Williams is deeply involved in the development of the former Civic Arena site and played a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of the highly praised UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry.

    Joining the Penguins in 2008 as the Senior Vice President of Business Affairs/General Counsel, Williams successfully led the construction of the team's new arena, ensuring its timely completion under budget for the 2010-11 season.

    He acts as the Penguins' liaison with AEG Facilities, collaborating closely on all arena-related events such as major concerts and national-level sporting events.

    Before his tenure at the Penguins, Travis Williams was a partner at Reed Smith LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, investment management, commercial lending, and general corporate matters.

    During his time at Reed Smith LLP, he also represented various sports franchises, regional sports networks, and other sports-related businesses.

    Williams, a native of Indianapolis, earned his BA in International Politics from Penn State University and obtained his Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, from Duquesne University. He was actively involved in the Duquesne Law Review and the Duquesne Business Law Journal during his time at the university.
