Toon Leijtens is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in start-ups and blockchain technology.

Toon holds a BSc. in Informatica and Economics from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and has pursued additional studies in Architecture, Agile SCRUM PO, and Euromoney Derivatives.

Currently, Toon serves as the Chief Blockchain Officer & Architect at Things Protocol, focusing on IoT and blockchain solutions, after previously holding roles as a Blockchain Consultant at ybzconsulting and Chief Technology Officer at komgo®.

Toon's extensive experience includes positions at renowned organizations such as ING Nederland, Rabobank International, and Logica, where he has showcased his expertise in technology, requirements management, risk solutions, and project management.
