Tony DiBernardo is an Analog Astronaut and the Communications Officer for the American Public University System's Analog Research Group (AARG). He recently completed a master's degree in space studies from American Public University and holds a bachelor's degree in communications, along with a certificate in science communication from Northwestern University.1
In his role at AARG, DiBernardo served as the crew journalist during their first analog astronaut mission (ARG-1M) at the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) in January 2023. His responsibilities included documenting the mission through daily video logs and producing a full-length documentary titled "Analog: A Documentary of the ARG-1M Analog Mars Mission," which highlights the experiences of the crew.12
