Tony Braun

Tony Braun is a trusted advisor for location-based intelligence and services using the public cloud and leading-edge geospatial approaches. With extensive experience in various GIS and land information systems domains, he is continuously searching for spatial insights to help clients make the most of their geospatial data.

Tony has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Geographical Information Technologies from The University of Salford and a Master's Degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He has held several positions in notable organizations such as the World Bank Street Addressing Team, GoGIS Ltd, and Cadastre Limited. In his current role, Tony serves as the Cloud & Geolocation Business Manager at DoiT International. Additionally, he has previously worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

He also specializes in GIS and spatial planning information, supervision, and expertise, and has supervised several programs, including ProMaputo: Maputo Municipal Upgrading Program. He is an expert in GIS and street address systems, and his expertise spans several domains like GIS product management, digital cartography, and technical solutions management. He is passionate about creating spatial awareness and intelligence for businesses, organizations, and governments.
