Tommi Bergström

Tommi Bergström is the Co-Founder and CEO of Ambio, a company based in Helsinki, Finland.2 He has a background in engineering and technology, particularly in the field of valve manufacturing and additive manufacturing (3D printing).

Prior to founding Ambio, Bergström worked at Valmet (formerly Neles) as the Manager of Engineering Analysis.14 In this role, he was involved in developing and implementing additive manufacturing technologies for valve production. He collaborated with other experts to explore the opportunities of 3D printing in valve manufacturing and showcased 3D printed parts.1

Recently, Bergström has been focusing on sustainability and innovation in materials. In August 2023, he announced that he and Elmo Pakkanen had been working on a new venture for six months, which involves a shift from conventional materials to recycled and bio-based alternatives.3
