Tomaz Ostir is a highly skilled and knowledgeable high impact energy expert and manager, with a strong background in the energy business. Having studied Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana, Tomaz possesses interdisciplinary knowledge in various aspects of the energy industry, ranging from gas and electricity markets to virtual power plants, smart grids, and IT support for deregulated markets.

With extensive experience working in international environments, Tomaz has successfully led international teams of experts and demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial and team management skills. His goal-oriented mindset and expertise in energy make him a valuable asset in the field.

Previously, Tomaz has held prominent roles at Gen-I, D.O.O., including Head of Marketing and Public Relations, Head of Trading Operations, and Head of Business Development. He also served as a Business Development Project Engineer at Gen-I, D.O.O., utilizing his in-depth knowledge to drive the growth and success of the company. Additionally, he gained valuable experience as an ICT Manager and Chief Information Officer at the Central Allocation Office.

Outside of his energy pursuits, Tomaz has showcased his versatility and leadership abilities in various other roles. He founded Multisport.Si and served as the Race Director at Ljubljana City Adventure. Furthermore, he worked as an Advisor to the Editor at Energetika.Net D.O.O. and as a Project Manager at Solvera Lynx, further expanding his expertise in diverse areas.
