Tomás Pereira

Tomás Pereira is a dedicated individual with a strong passion for music and video production, technology, startups, and the entertainment industry. He has a diverse background that blends his interests in technology, robotics, and entrepreneurship.

Tomás began his journey by engaging with technology at a young age, creating websites and editing videos for gaming channels. He later joined the national robotics team, competing in multiple RoboCup world competitions across the globe.

Driven by his fascination with maths and physics, Tomás pursued a Master's degree in Mechatronics, enriching his knowledge with courses in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Currently, he is finalizing his thesis on Session-based Recommender systems in collaboration with EY Portugal.

To further his entrepreneurial skills, Tomás completed programs at the European Innovation Academy and Babson College, where he delved into digital innovation and entrepreneurship.

His educational journey includes studying Game Theory in the Athens Programme at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Artificial Intelligence at KU Leuven, and Intelligent Systems, Control, and Robotics in Mechanical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico. He also deepened his entrepreneurship knowledge through the Startup Jumpstart program at Babson College.

Tomás Pereira's professional experience includes working as an Intelligent Systems Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico and being an Alum at the European Innovation Academy.
