    Growing up on his grandmother's farm, Tomás developed a love for fresh produce like corn, broccoli, tomatoes, apples, and pears, which later influenced his mission at kencko.

    After being diagnosed with acute gastritis in 2014, Tomás decided to adopt a plant-based diet following The China Study's principles to improve his health.

    Facing challenges in consuming enough fruits and vegetables daily, Tomás innovatively applied freeze-drying processes to create convenient and nutritious solutions, leading to the birth of kencko.

    kencko, a certified B-Corp, has successfully delivered over 100 million servings of fruit and vegetables, using only compostable packaging materials and maintaining carbon neutrality.

    Tomás Froes holds educational qualifications from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, ISCTE Business School, and Instituto Superior de Comunicação Empresarial, ensuring a strong academic foundation.

    With a diverse professional background that includes ventures like Scioko, FROSTIMO, and Siemens, Tomás brings a wealth of experience in business development, marketing, sales, and leadership.

    As a former mentor at Techstars and a fellow at the Startup Leadership Program, Tomás has actively contributed to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, sharing his knowledge and expertise.
