Tom Stahl

Tom Stahl, an experienced operational and financial leader with a diverse background, has made a name for himself in the startup and nonprofit sectors. He currently holds the position of Head of Operations at Outschool, an EdTech company that connects K-12 students with live, online classes taught by passionate teachers. During his tenure, Tom has successfully quadrupled the company's employee base and raised $45M in Series B funding. Prior to this, he served as the COO/CFO for two startups based in San Francisco and one international conservation nonprofit called WildAid. Tom has extensive knowledge in development, finance, human resources, information technology, board management, and corporate legal. He holds an MBA and MA in East Asian studies from UC Berkeley and a BS in Engineering from Duke University. Beyond his professional pursuits, Tom is an avid traveler and an award-winning photographer.
