Tom Scriven is a legal and finance executive with over 20 years of experience in setting and executing business strategies, raising financing, and launching new companies and units. He is an accomplished General Counsel and has effectively managed an international legal team that provides timely and solution-based legal support and compliance systems in areas of securities law, corporate governance, tax, HR, and more for operations located in multiple countries and U.S. states. Moreover, Tom is also a finance professional who has led contract negotiations, performed due diligence, and executed deals for transactions in different industries and geographies involving fast-growing companies, private equity clients, Fortune 100, Global 500 companies, and smaller companies operating in frontier markets. He has also co-founded an impact investment firm and managed investments in small and mid-size companies in frontier markets to unlock growth, investment returns, and measured positive social impact. Additionally, Tom is an active angel investor, board member, and investment committee member for multiple organizations.
