Tom O'Connell
Tom O'Connell is a K-12 Computer Science and STEM Education Consultant with over 10 years of nonprofit leadership experience. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.Ed. from the University of St. Thomas, with Study Abroad experience in Madrid from Syracuse University. Tom is passionate about improving equity and access in computer science education and works to ensure quality outcomes through program and operations strategy for state and federal grant programs. He specializes in partnership development, facilitator development for educator and administrator professional development in computer science and digital literacy, teacher and student recruitment, and development strategy for nonprofits to diversify funding structures and build long-term plans. Tom also contributes to the teacher community, organizes events, and serves on the Leadership Committee for the Computer Science Teachers Association's NYC Chapter.
