Tom Heck

Tom Heck is a highly effective educational leader with over 30 years of international experience in spearheading teacher development and program expansion to maximize student achievement. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Virginia Tech. Throughout his career, he has gained an array of skills and expertise in teacher professional development improvement, public speaking, curriculum development and engineering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Tom's track record success of multi-tasking to execute critical priorities simultaneously has made him a great leader.

Tom has worked and held various positions in organizations such as Makey Makey / JoyLabz Inc., International Association of Teamwork Facilitators, Purdue University, YMCA of Western North Carolina, and Prince William County Schools. In these different organizations, Tom was responsible for leading, developing, and expanding programs to benefit students worldwide. He has also worked as a STEM educator, technology, and engineering at Prince William County Schools.
