Tom Chiodo
Tom Chiodo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the entertainment and non-profit industries. He has held several leadership positions, including Senior Executive Director of National Program Development at WETA TV and Senior Vice President at Entertainment Industry Foundation. Throughout his career, Chiodo has been instrumental in raising significant funds for various national initiatives in healthcare, volunteerism, veteran’s services, childhood hunger and education. He has also represented New York's iconic institutions such as the Apollo Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and The American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards while at Rubenstein Communications.
Before joining the world of entertainment and non-profit, Chiodo worked as a teacher, case worker, and clinical researcher. His groundbreaking efforts in home care services for respirator-dependent children were published in the New England Journal of Medicine. He has authored several plays and served on the board of various nonprofit organizations, including Fenway Community Health Center, Professional Performing Arts High School, Heart Gallery NYC Adoption Services, and Rockflower.
Chiodo studied at Northeastern University and currently serves as the Executive Producer of Special Projects and National Program Development at WETA. With his wealth of knowledge and experience in fundraising, strategic partnerships, and program development, Chiodo continues to make a lasting impact in the entertainment and non-profit industries, creating solutions for women and girls in the developing world through Rockflower.
