Tom Bloch is a broad-experienced journalist with a passion for interdisciplinary communication. He has worked in various media sectors including newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, book projects, and PR agencies. His unique ability to edit and voice radio and TV productions has helped him carve a niche for himself in the industry.
Tom is a skilled photographer with vast experience in analog and digital photography. He has done PR, reportage, portraits, documentation, trade shows, and corporate events photography, among others. Tom is a proficient copywriter with expertise in public relations, and he has also worked as an editor for radio, TV, newspapers, book projects, advertisements, catalogs, image brochures, German-English translations, and more.
Tom has a background in Diplom Biology from the University of Hohenheim and studied non-degree graduate student zoology, ecology, animal behavior, and limnology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Tom has been an active freelancer and founder of Wort•Bild•Text and has worked with different organizations during his career.
He has worked as a photographer at Porsche Werksabholung at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, press officer for the Beachvolleyball National team Karla Borger/Julia Sude, and accredited photographer at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Tom has also worked as a press officer and accredited photographer in different events, including the CEV Champions League, CEV EuroVolleyU16W, and the Olympic Games Rio de Janeiro 2016.
