Todd Evans is a highly experienced architect and energy manager with a deep passion for sustainability and green building design. He attended Florida Atlantic University's School of Architecture and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, earning awards from the American Institute of Architects for his research and designs on sustainability.
Mr. Evans has worked on a diverse range of projects including airports, military facilities, schools, automotive buildings, retail spaces, cultural institutions, and residential structures, with a strong focus on building sciences and energy efficiency.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in South Florida, Todd Evans is a licensed architect in Florida, Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He is certified with the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
As a LEED Accredited professional, Mr. Evans has contributed significantly to the field of sustainable design. He has served as a subject matter expert for the US Green Building Council's LEED Examination writing team and the Program Working Group for the Greenbuild Conference & Expo. He is also a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers.
Currently, Todd Evans holds the position of Energy Manager at the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations. In this role, he focuses on enhancing energy efficiency in U.S. Embassies, Consulates, and Diplomatic facilities worldwide, addressing their unique geopolitical challenges.
