Tobias Piechowiak

Tobias Piechowiak is an accomplished Senior Research Engineer at GN ReSound with a formidable background in mathematical modeling, auditory signal processing, and clinical statistics. He holds a Master of Science in electrical engineering, and a Diplom in physics and mathematics. Tobias' primary research and development interests lie in algorithms for bilateral fitted hearing aids with a focus on compression, noise reduction, and fitting algorithms. Tobias has demonstrated expertise in the testing of technical and perceptual aspects of hearing aids, and computational-based designing for hearing aids from a DSP, acoustic, and perceptual perspective. Tobias is also a valuable data analytics advisor and collaborates with external institutions on the future of hearing aids under the banner of Better Hearing Rehabilitation.
