Tobias Piechowiak is a highly experienced Senior Research Engineer at GN ReSound, with a background in mathematical modeling, auditory signal processing, machine learning, and clinical statistics. With an MSc in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. from the Danish Technical University, Tobias specializes in algorithms for bilateral fitted hearing aids and has expertise in auditory system models, compression, noise reduction and fitting algorithms, sound quality evaluation, and hearing aid testing. Tobias collaborates with external institutions on the future of hearing aids and serves as an advisor in data analytics. His further interests include the computational-based design of hearing aids from the DSP, acoustical, as well as perceptual perspectives. Tobias also studied Organizational Leadership at Copenhagen Business School and Big Data, Data mining at DTU.
