Tina Opie

Associate Professor, Babson College

Dr. Tina Opie, Ph.D, is an accomplished consultant and academic expert in organizational behavior, diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is the Founder of Opie Consulting Group LLC, where she provides visionary guidance to organizations seeking to create more inclusive and equitable work environments. Dr. Opie is also an Associate Professor of Management at Babson College, where she teaches undergraduates and MBA students how to navigate issues of culture and identity in the workplace.

With over 20 years of experience as a thought leader, Dr. Opie uses her experience as a consultant at A.T. Kearney and as a commercial lender at Bank of America to generate high-impact solutions for organizations looking to unleash the power of authenticity. Her research on Shared Sisterhood™ provides individuals and organizational leaders with specific strategies to forge deeper relationships across difference and create more inclusive environments.

Dr. Opie holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from James Madison University, and a Master's degree in Business Administration in Business Management from the University Of Virginia Darden School Of Business. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Management at the NYU Stern School of Business. Dr. Opie's educational background, combined with her extensive industry and consulting experience, make her a highly sought-after expert in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
